woah! wasn't expecting that, in my opinion we don't need both. especially with barry, barkley and mccarthy whilst giving gibson a new contract, i'm a big fan of davies, besic is there as well. If we add an attacking play maker which would push ross back up the pitch (my preference rather than the manager's i suppose). Even though most of those names aren't great, there's a lot of numbers. Based on that i'm presuming the rumours on mccarthy going are true. I suppose with the sale of stones we could afford both, a new keeper, a playmaker a backup striker and a centre back ... or two.

Think barry might be allowed to leave on a free and i wouldnt be suprised to see mccarthy sold if we can recoup what we paid. Some ones going to have to go as we will have about 8 centre mid players with out including dowell, davies and ledson.

Unless he asks for a move, then doubt we will look to push Barry out, experienced old head and a model pro, just age against him now

McCarthy - if someones willing to pay for a proven premiership midfielder at his peak age then yeah can see him going

Funny thing is they have shot their bolt in the transfer market and looking at it, they havent signed one player i'd have wanted here (maybe the keeper actually)

70m spent on not very much yet again

Funny how TS and the other sites will manage to give them massive airtime still though whilst they sit their with their business all done and other teams startt to strengthen
