i like that we're not easily giving up on what are our first targets. Same as we did with koeman and eventually landed him, our long term future is much important than just the one game vs spurs. There are a few midfielders out there better than Witsel and won't cost the money or hassle that this perm will.

People are just excited about him because they saw him play for a terrible Belgium team once or twice.
