I'll vouch for his information source, and with regards to the second quoted post, we (Everton) met with Emery on several occasions, unequivocally.
Can't be that great a source of information if the source was saying Koeman was no longer on the list then...

Presumably in between the time of Koeman's original and replacement agent. Have wondered for sure whether Everton went back to Koeman (who was now expressing an interest in the job via his new agent) because they didn't get the right response from Emery (and his representatives) or Emery had simply said he didn't want the job. I wonder what would have happened had Emery jumped at the job, would he have become our manager and not Koeman? I'm thinking that he would.
