Latch

Player Valuation: £15m
Posted via Mobile Device These are the teams that i would like to see in the prem. All have been in the old first division or premiership and for some of them it's long overdue. Burnley - Huddersfield - Forrest - Leeds - Sheff Wednesday - Swansea - QPR. Your choices ?

Don't want Sheff Wed anywhere near the Prem. I remember, I think it was the 98 season, when they beat us at Goodison and Di Canio scored the wondergoal. Their fans were singing 'Going down going down going down'. Hmm, where are those fans now I wonder?

Posted via Mobile Device Burnley just scored a great goal. 2-0 on agg now, should make the play off final now. 3-0 now!! The Claret's could be in prem next season. That would be one off my list.

Huddersfield (sold us Ray Wilson remember)
Burnley
PNE (sadly not to be)
Forest (still remember the opening game at Goodison after they got promoted, stuffed us. Was it 3-0?)
Sheff Wednesday.
Blackpool

Not Reading. Not QPR. Not Leeds.

3-1 mate. Jim Pearson scored for us. Not being a bad anorak it's just that it was my first game.

I sometimes go to the Ricoh as a neutral and to be honest they have a few decent looking players , but at times they look like a pub team. It is that inconsistency which ruined last season. My 1st Everton game was back in 1977 v Cov at Highfield road. We lost 3-2, it was the era of Lyons, Latch etc.

Posted via Mobile Device Talking of Latch, i dont know if you've heard this before, i hadn't till about a month ago. Saturday, April 29, 1978 ~ Latchford scores two goals against Chelsea to take his tally to 30 for the season. That, i obviously knew about, but not this, The Daily Express had put up a £10,000 prize if he achieved it, he collected his money " but decided to share it amongst the ground staff and his teammates as well as making a donation to the PFA Benevolent Fund, leaving just £200 to take home for himself ". Heart of gold eh.
