Looking at those kits makes me wonder would most Everton fans be o.k if the club went away from the normal plain Blue top and went with a totally unique top like the two above for one year and repeat this every 5 years or so similar to what the Wigan Warriors do.

I think having a one off anomaly makes the kit a lot more memorable for me.

Looking back, the kits which stand out in the minds of blues, are the Umbro strips down the sleeves, the bib, the White Vee neck, the 1995 home shirt, and the difference is, is that they're all unique, and rememberable.

If you started churning out weird kit, after weird kit, you soon start to try and out do each other and end up with something like....

I think Blue and Black, will be a refreshing change, and if it goes well, could easily have a second year, and then back to white for a good 5-6 years.

If we wanna [Poor language removed] about, make it a 3rd shirt, when we'll never wear it.

Maybe if it was something like:

What's the hold up now the season is finished? The official website still has the current monstrosity.

Maybe they think now the dust has settled we've all forgot about it. Imagine the kit launch in July with the current badge on it..

Chelsea revealed their away kit today! In 5 weeks is the start of my holidays and I would be so boss to wear on the sunny days a new Everton Umbro home kit with a McCarthy or Stones printing on the back, so come on Umbro and EFC don't let this dream die!

I do hope you're under eighteen years of age if you are planning to get a players name and number on the back!

No, a player print on the back is for in my opinion not only for kids! I'm 31 and the last 5 years, all my EFC kits has a Jagielka printing! Time for something new and I really like kits with player names
