Is he that bad though? Or does he not just play the same overblown character in the same silly films?

But thats being a bad actor in my opinion,the inability to act,basically playing yourself isnt acting,

If you are convincing in your role, then you are acting. If you're a larger than life person anyway then that's just good fortune.

Oh I agree he has struck lucky being himself in every role he plays,also agree about Bloom,theres a host of actors that really arent worthy of the title

always thought orlando is a bit of a crap actor with a good looking face. there is a scene in pirates of the Caribbean 2 where he is shouting jack when he gets to the island and it is so poorly done, makes me laugh even now.

He was awesome as that elf In Lord of the Rings. Had quite a crush on said elf!

My missus sometimes leans over to me and says "I'm going to take your face....off"! In a very quiet but menacing voice.

Kevin Costner. Acted off the screen in every film he has been in by random co-stars

Sean Bean- who I actually love but his ability to do anything other than his own Yorkshire accent is an endless source of hilarity. Favourite example being Troy: "Ey up I've come for t' battle"

He was excellent in something a few years back. It was a one off drama about football finance, but can't remember what it was called. He was also good in Human Traffic and The Football Factory. Thereafter, he's been typecast and has played up to the chirpy Cockney image
