Slow? The kids quite a quick player, certainly quicker than alot of our players.

Did you not watch the Utd game where he marked Ronaldo out of the game and was excellent? You must have missed that one. He's had quite a few good games. Villa, Bolton, Man utd, Metalist, Blackburn, Newcastle etc all spring to mind.

When he was fit and in the right condition yes. I saw the promise the the majority of fans did. Hes was our best player for the first 10 games of the season.

After his injury, he was having to come in and do a job and never really got going. He was playing with an injury and wasn't fully fit. Ive stuck up for Both Mikel and Manny when they been injured and lacking fitness and not being able to perform to there highest level and I'm going to stick up for Baines. He wasn't in the right condition towards the end of the season so it's unfair to judge.

He is without doubt a good player, give him a run of games to prove himself.

I hope your right , as i say i was delighted when we signed him and though the would play for Everton for the next ten years or so and be in the England world cup squad in 2010.
