Yellowcard for me. Not sure if any of the American lads would have heard of them by now? They are pretty much unknown in the UK.

Some fantastic songs. Very consistent

Well I like Crowded House, and I finally got to see them last month. But they were supported by a band called Duke Special, odd music, but pretty cool if you like music in a general sense and not just Oasis/Beatles. :)

wheres mcbain?

another chapter of the stuff like ''sexual boogaloo'' and ''elasticated hippopotamus'' are in order.

You Am I - brilliant Australian rock band that for some reason have always missed out on 'worldwide domination', despite being consistently named as influences by young bands, and having fans like Sonic Youth, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam etc.

I first heard of Hope of the States from one of Dom's compilations. Maybe they were big in the UK at some point, but they're literally unheard of in the United States. I'm pretty confident I'm the only person within a 1000 miles of me that listens to them, aside from people i've sent their albums too.

i'm pretty in to The Dandy Warhols, they have varying degrees of exposure depending on what crowd you hang out with.

I like Prozzak (formerly a solely dance music band, but their newest album has some legit tunes), but in terms of exposures they're in about the same boat as Hope of the States in the US.

The older lads and lasses may love my selection, but the younger ones wont. I'm 24, but i love The Smiths, James, Cast, Shack etc. Obviously like the younger circuit, Enemy etc, but the oldies still do it for me. Also, a bit of Lionel to get you in the mood "look at me, i'm dancing on the ceiling"!! b)

Dear God, I feel old.
Bands?
Point of Ayr Colliery Band maybe?

Do Aerosmith count as a band? If so, they're my favourites, if not, dunno.
