Living overseas, and so no being able to attend regular games, it's sites like these two in particular that sustain my interest in the club (on a day to day basis, rather than simply following the games on the weekend) - I sure as **** don't bother with the painfully drab evertonfc website.

Anyways sorry to hear how uv been treated Bally, i hope that something gets sorted and they offer u an apology for their actions.

Love Everton, hate the cockheads who run it and get to wield their small time ego's and mentality over the rest of us.

A thousand members of GOT need to write 1000 letters to Kenwright and copies to Moyes as to why Everton need to drop the title 'Peoples Club' title over this affair, change their stance.

We need leaflets at the next home game outlining what has gone on and make other Everton fans aware of what the club has done.

We need to take this to local and national press and radio, and a letter to the MP.

Let's show the morons who run our club where we stand.

Even if nothing changes, give them a bad few weeks.

I was then told that I had requested tickets from the backroom staff which was ludicrous.

I had been down to London to watch the first team in January at Tottenham which was a rearranged fixture due to the London riots in August.

I came home from Spurs then went back down to London for the second day to watch the Academy play at QPR in the FA youth cup so I asked for a ticket to help me with my expense as the two trips were not cheap..

You say it's ludricous then admit to it.

Like many others on here, I live away from Merseyside and don't get to see the blues in the flesh. As such, I rely on sites like this and posters like ab for info on the club.
After reading through this whole thread, through the anger and sadness I feel at the treatment Steve has received, I'm actually starting to well up with pride. Pride in my club. When I say my club, I am in no way referring to the unbelievably incompetent nonces who have taken this decision. I'm referring to ab himself and every member of this forum who have responded, to a man, with words of indignation and, more importantly, solidarity. You are the club. Take pride in that, and I hope some consolation Steve. At least until, hopefully, this situation can be rectified.

I was thinking about buying some stuff from EvertonDirect cause i got a postcard last night informing me of their christmas offer of 15% off. Then i noticed the offer ran out yesterday leaving me just hours the useless idiots which i thought was bad enough.

Then i read this, i'll echo everything thats been said, Steve is top blue who does more for this club then the prats in charge now ever will.

Disgusting decision which does more harm than good but they've probably got their heads too far up their asses to realise.

its a footy game mate, if he was going into finch farm knocking about the dressing rooms i could see your piont, but he is just standing there watching a game of footy, same as i do with my lad when he plays for the school team , i have seen him in schools all over liverpool and havnt been pulled up once, he has been doing it for years so isnt a danger to anybody, this day and age with facebook and such the lads there will be well used to getting messages and if there not they need to stay off it.

Just seen this and have only scanned through a few pages after the first one, so forgive me if I’m repeating anyone else.

The club is not the chairman and his employees; it is not the manager and his playing & coaching staff. All of which will come and go over time. This club is now and always has been its fans, and that is the way it always will be as far as I’m concerned.

To ban a long time loyal fan for writing about the team we all love is simply beyond reason.

I will do the only thing I can do and write to the chairman and manager urging them to find a way to allow Alan / Steve to continue his fine work keeping us fans up to date on the team we love.
