They don't bother me but they do bother some people.

Queg and mong don't bother me but both can be highly offensive to some people.

If someone was to complain about being offended by such words would the mod team on here take it seriously or just say well they don't offend me so please stop complaining?



Again they don't personally bother me when used in a jokey context but they seem to bother Steevie. And quite frankly if queg is a homophobic insult and mong is derogotory towards mentally handicapped people they shouldn't be allowed by forum rules.

I'm sure the mods would treat any complaints in a serious manner and would do their best to sort it out in a way that is fair to everybody without it cumilating in people falling out, bannings being issued etc.

Hb aka JohnC has been banned. How can he post if he is such is tawt? Get it through your heads, this is not solely based on banning, it is about how others get away with there own demons.
 
Aye, maybe. Can't help thinking that insults only work if the recipitent is prepared to be insulted. Personally speaking I'm not offended by the words that are currently censored but don't really care that they're censored either. We have to remember that D/D and the other mods give up their free time to put this place on for us, I'm not going to bust their balls over every little thing. If you're so insecure as to find offense at someone calling you a queg on an online forum I dare say you have larger problems to worry about in the real world than you'll ever have on here.

No person's ever going to be perfect but from what I've seen of the mod team, both from inside and outside, they're a good bunch and always try to be fair. Time to stop taking things so seriously and cut the guys some slack.

How others get away. So basically your saying if HB was banned, why arent others?

Well the people who offend you or anyone else can be reported - and im sure an admin or mod will talk to them, warn them and let them get back to posting. HB was as the rules say "high maintenance". The user doesnt need reporting seconds after one report. And HB continued to do this even though Danny told him to calm down the usage of the Report button.

Dont think that pressing the report button will get you banned.

Oh i might as well, please get your facts right dom.

Danny said, dont keep reporting so i stopped. Then when i was getting abused i didnt report it, in the main because of what Danny said and there was a mod present on the thread. I stupidly thought mick would sort the issue out, but all he did was ban the abuser and the abusee. Hardly great work by a mod. For this i get banned for life, mainly because the yank has an issue with me ( The same yank who doesnt even come on the site often anymore)

Not at all. Its a shame, i thought you were quite sound...just wondering why you even posted this topic. I highly Doubt HB will be let back on, so why are you arguing? If your going to go - just go, if not, quit now, come back in the morning and forget about it all, and talk about the Portsmouth match.

Im sure Halewood blue wouldnt want you banned for his sake, he may return in the near future, my advice to HB, come back as another user with a random name, still have your opinions, just tone them down abit? (y)

Why would i want to do that Dom? A) It wouldnt work as my opinion will still be the same and it wont be difficult to work out and B ) Why should i?

Believe me lad, i am sound. I am just against the clique that has formed on here. If your not part of it, you need not worry. I respect most on here, you included, but hate seeing certain going's on here, ie alias's deliberately stirring sh!te.
