Barca or Real

As for Barca, I'd love it if they did the treble. They're a joy to watch this season and in Messi have the finest player I've seen, quite possibly since Ronaldo in his season at the Camp Nou.

Barça

at the age of 8 when franco died, or was dying, i saw something about a Barcelona game where Catalan flags had been smuggled into the Nou Camp, imprisonment for posession under Franco. John Craven then explained about the military dictatorship of Franco etc. then through reading Shoot i became aware that Franco had bankrolled their success over the years and about dodgy goings on there. i did show a slight interest in Real when Lawrie Cunningham headed over there but i knew that i prefered Barca. i suppose if it was nowadays they wouldve been classed as supporters of terrorism though.

dont forget Lineker and Hughes played for them too, missing from the list.

Deportivo went into meltdown i believe when they were denied access to the c.l. in favour of Real Madrid, they lost their best players and ended up getting relegated, i think if i'm not mistaken that because they challenged the decision and it dragged on for yonks, they went bust while it was getting sorted due to loss of income.

Gordo Camerero Espanol, I think. Senor Martin speaks much better Spanish than me though.

And as for the thread, Barca every time. The Catalans are the scousers of Spain and it shows.

Should have seperate national teams and everything.
