Barcodes v Villa

Villa were battering 'em. Had a pen 9 mins in, Carew skys it, and 3 minutes later pedo-stached Barton unleashed a rocket. Villa were dominating, and in some ways still are, but they're 3-0 down.

Ashley Young had a goal disallowed as the ball hit his arm.

Newcastle holding a really high line, and Young keeps exploiting it. But somehow. Somehow. Villa are losing 3-0.

And I'm made up. If we beat 'em next week, we'll leapfrog them, assuming they lose today.

Newcastle are the new Barcelona!

Barton's finish was very tidy. Surprised by Villa a bit, should have scored the penalty and Young wasn't offside though....

No, he wasn't. It was disallowed as it hit his arm when he collected it. Purely accidental, mind, but Young's a tit so who cares?

The scripts set now. Villa get battered today. Cue new manager early part of week and them on a high for the game next weekend. Hope its todays Villa that turn up next week though.
