Thanks very much.If you fancy time square, I suggest a very tight money belt, apparently some of the best pick pockets in history occupy that area waiting on tourists. Fasten it tight yo!

Thanks very much.I ignored it like the plague outside of seeing a show. Was far too busy and expensive compared to other parts of Manhattan.
Thanks very much.Cask, 33 on 3rd.good food and drink, more a restaurant than a pub, menu and info on Google.
Thanks very much.A place called Upland, it’s the literally the next block down from the Turnmill, probably the best meal we ate in New York last year.
Thanks very much.Head down to the flat iron and try this place
Rooftop Bar NYC - New York's largest indoor and outdoor bar
Igloo rooftop bar , Rooftop bar in Flatiron230-fifth.com
It’s a cracking rooftop bar with incredible views of the city. Book in advance.
It was recommended to me by a local years ago and I visit every time I’m there now.
If, like me, you have an unhealthy addiction to musical theatre then go directly to Time Square and head north on Broadway until you reach West 51st Street.
On the corner of Broadway and West 51st you will find a place called Ellen's Stardust Diner.
The home of the singing waiters & waitresses.
(If you don't like musical theatre then for love of God DON'T go - you'll hate it.)
Deffo go to Turnmill, home of the New York Everton Supporters Club. Was in there for the Newcastle win in December, was very drunk and ended up leading a chorus of "Ole Ole Ole Beto Beto!" when the third went in. Great evening all-round, was genuinely full of American / tourist ToffeesHi folks I will be staying in Times Square New York for 3 days 2nd to 5th July before going on a cruise. Can anyone recommend any good bars and restaurants in the area. I believe there is an evertonian bar somewhere in the area called Turnmill. As long as nobody gives me New Yorks answer to the Lisbon .Cheers.

Thanks very much. Also the Times Square Marriot Marquis revolving rooftop restaurant and bar is pretty cool as well.
I fully admit it's not a place that everyone will like. Was there in December, wife loved it, I was close to killing myself. Was sat on the top balcony and looked down and saw the waitress with my beer walking towards us. Then she stopped, was handed a microphone, and started singing to everyone for 5 minutes. I was gasping for a pint, was fuming!
