Ortega came to town a few years ago when they had an exhibition between River Plate and Chivas. Fun match to watch and you could see the class that River Plate had:

D'Alessandro
Demichelis
Maxi Lopez

Really good team then. Demichelis especially stood out. He played at CB and was composed on the ball every time. Never put a bad foot forward and was always in good position. Bayern got their mittens on him shortly thereafter while D'Alessandro went off to Wolfsburg of all places and Lopez to Barcelona.
