Good selection there. Recently drank the Halo Pale Ale in the the Lakes, what did you think ? ( I thought it was very good )

*Sneck Lifter is one of those hidden beers that gets you smashed without you realising it !

Halo was good. Best pint of the night though was the Big Red.

Tried a couple of new Founder's this weekend.

The Black Rye was very good. Strong, smoky taste from the rye at the forefront with a subtle hoppy finish. Really liked this one.

Wasn't as impressed with their new Sumatra Brown. I normally like coffee flavored stuff, including beers, but this was just too much coffee. Tasted more like an alcoholic Starbucks drink than a coffee flavored ale. Still pretty good, but just a bit much for my tastes.

Bath ales are nice, especially this.

Unfortunately they've just been taken over so expect the standards to plummet.
