I'm off to the Dispensary later for a quiet pint or two with some empty milk cartons to get some beer before it's likely they're asked to close.

I’m heading out early doors too.

I’m expecting everywhere to be pretty busy today as people make the most of what could be the last weekend for a while.

I've just had two lovely Boston style bagels (a bagel smothered in cream cheese with crispy bacon, onion, peppers, tomatoes and some Tabasco), and I'm all ready.

You're right about it being busy, so I may start walking around eleven meaning I'll be in town for 12. A beer or two here and there before the wife picks me up.

Ended up stuck in looking after the kids. as the missus is still whacked after the virus and she went back to bed mid afternoon

Lidl are doing a 'craft beer festival' line from next Thursday. Don't know how big a selection it'll be but the ones in the leaflet look interesting. Think I'll defo try a couple of those marshmallow milk stouts...

Most of their stuff is tbh.

Very nice pally ally from CCB, all tangerines and limes and such, would have been top in the summer lol

There’s a select few places that know exactly how to serve it on draught and it’s very good then.

The problem is most places serve it like a pint of Greene King or Doom Bar and it’s just bland, tasteless rubbish.
