These "breakfast stouts" are much better than I would have thought. A local brewery called Three Notch'd did one last year--a chocolate marshmellow brew called Biggie S'mores. I quite liked it, but only about a pint or less for me.

Not to brag, but I'm drinking a massed-produced, distinctly un-hip Blue Moon. I might even switch to Miller Lite later.
pleb....on a serious note, I went to Total Wine to treat myself to a bottle of this yesterday and they were out. I was devastated...best stuff going, for me. Nab one, if you ever run across it.
Unfortunately, I can't see the photo. What did you pick up?

I see it now! Will definitely be on the lookout. I live in a smallish town and our one good beer-import store closed because of crazy tax laws in my state (Virginia, USA). Just googled it...WOW!
Great brewery, great beerView attachment 108053
Siren have thrown cherries, cacao nibs and bourbon barrel aged coffee into the mix for a 'twisted' version of their Broken Dream breakfast stout.
7.4% - some hardcore breakfast that like.
Nice collection of glasses. I had a load of them when I lived back in Ireland. Only took one case load with me to the US and have since purchased a small few here.I love a good quality beer as well as coffee.. Bernardus is a most excellent choice and extra kudos for the chalice glass.
I have quite a few glasses myself - the most expensive are probably the Duvel ones - A few are worth probably £100-200 each
Some of my beer is too good & stashed away - for when Everton actually win something
The beer at Goodison is horrific, that stuff is just rank. For cheap mass produced stuff I find Peroni, Asahi, Sapporo or any of the German ones perfectly fine but they cannot compare to the high quality beers out of Belgium - open a bottle of Westmalle after leaving in a cupboard 5 years and it will taste like it was bottled yesterday. I have about 4 bottles of Westvleteren 12 also stashed away, that stuff will never expire so when Everton win the CL I will crack a few open
Is anyone here on Untapped?
I have 4 golden tickets from my Beer 52 sub - if anyone wants a free case send me a message - (8 x bottles free postage) there is no catch other than having to use a card to verify your ID - You can cancel your details as soon as you get the box
I ring them up and it’s done, and avoid the offers in the emails they send.Beer52 is notoriously hard to cancel, hence why they give these out.
