This is a strange tasting one.
As @Caolam said, you're in Derry, but specially inside City Hotel. Spent some time there over the years, and from memory the bar was always decent enough.

I had a pint in there when I went last year, fascinating city full of friendly people.
Went to a farm brewery in Blacksburg VIrginia (about 4 hours east of DC, home of Virginia Tech university). These were surprisingly great, mostly because they were subtle and dry:
