Adnams' Ghost Ship, as good as I remember, and a few of :
Never had this brewer's beers before, although only 3.7%, it was so tasty. Strong beers are all well and good but it's the quality and taste for me. I tried their stout (5.2%), but wasn't overly impressed, a bit insipid for a stout for my taste. Nonetheless, a brewery to look out for.
Also picked up the Wirrale Drinker, the local Camra publication, which has lots of interesting info, but I can't be arsed to tell you, maybe later.
Managed to buy a load of cheap blackberries, so blackberry gin in three months it is.
