Beer, revisited



Just had a cracking roast dinner in Pwllhelli. What seemed half a lamb, seven veg. and a Yorkie. What made it a complete meal was these two superb beers from a Welsh brewery of which I've never heard :

Can't wait to taste more. Link to their website. The sun is shining, I'm stuffed, slightly squiffy, no longer tired and we've won with style and can once again watch MOTD. All once again is well with the world.

Thought I'd take a trip to Porthmadog. Left the bus and saw a banner at a pub declaiming : CAMRA regional pub of the year.
Three hours later still to see the delights that Porthmadog might offer. The four beers I've had so far are :

And Mountain Moose, a new brew apparently.

Moose Brewery is based in Porthmadog and you can do tours, which I haven't. Put down the Welsh as much as you want, and I have, but the beers I've tasted are superb.

The pub is called the Australian, and is on the High Street. Highly recommended.
