Whereas we absolutely needed the signings of JR, Allan and Doucoure , it is the signings of Godfrey and Nkounkou which are most significant for the longer term. Talented young players , who can become the basis of the team for the next five or six years , added to the best of the young talent already at the club.

I may even be missing somebody, but that is a team from the current squad with a surprisingly young average age.

i'm hoping brands does this kind of analysis and checking all the time - seeing that there's a next generation of players coming through!

It is good that York are being helped by £1.9m initially (£20m - £1m = £19m x 10%).
BTW I have been looking at our financials and the transfers of Godfrey and Lewis were not crucial to our survival despite Covid19. I wouldnt describe Norwich as a little club....may be a medium sized club.
