I thought despite a couple of mistakes he was MotM tonight.

No one else had his desire to win. Too many took the safe option which got us nowhere, he tried to power out of defence into attack, a shame there was little intelligent movement in front of him.

Werner got in behind him a few times, especially late on (albeit the game was ragged by then).

Havertz also pinned Godfrey and Keane back with his direct running.

They didn't get through too often, but when they did, it exposed us (see the penalty).

Comes from not enough pressure in midfield allowing their players to pass it through the lines.

Tactically and physically outplayed last night. All over the pitch, too.

Godfrey didn't have the best of games which reaffirms my belief that Keane and Mina are probably the strongest pairing we have.
