Had a shocker there for 20 mins, positionally all over the place...I’ll put it down to nerves.

He didn't want to leave any of them out so avoided the call. If TAA is injured he won't pick another right back I'd guess.

Totally crapped the bed on the decision - an injury gets him out of it.

Godfrey should go anyway, ahead of Ming's and coady, but regardless he should be going if there's injuries.

Congratulations Ben, fantastic first season and a fitting reward.

Hopefully talented youngsters see the progress he’s made and we can get similar kinds of players in.

Yes, he's inexperienced and can look nervy, but how does he get tournament experience if not picked ahead of grocks like those two?

Coady has better distribution than Godfrey. The lad has a lot to learn yet.

Yeah maybe but a good pro puts that behind them. He’s young and his time will come. ‘Tis a surreal time to be a an Evertonian mind.

Not saying he doesn't have a lot to learn, and he ain't there for his distribution is he tbh.

Coady is a clogger, alehouse merchant as is Ming's - Godfrey is a better footballer and defender than both of them.

Godfrey is good defender, better at defending than mings or coady I think. good at having marauding runs every now and then, but his distribution is still questionable, he isn't as good a passer as coady or mings. Godfrey likes a pass to pickford too much for my liking. I'm glad he's made his england debut, made up for him. He's not the finished article yet though.
