...it’s obvious we need real pace and power in central defence and Brands has been trying to address that issue since Zouma left.

Definite need for pace at centre back but from my limited knowledge of Godfrey he is very similar to Holgate in that he is quick but not the strongest in the air. On that (weak) basis, they are probably competing to play alongside Keane/Mina at this time.

If he can play more advanced and cover Allan then he will be a very useful addition.

Just reading the posts about his height made me think of Cahill,and then Alex Young.

Well DCL is the same height and watching a few games this season he has had no problem jumping for the ball i'm sure this lad won't have trouble either if he is coached the same way as DCL has been

It wasn’t 40m. I’ve no idea where that figure came from.

It was 28m rising to 34m in add ons.

Dcl is 6ft 2. So they are not the same height.
