The manager didn't have to select him, but he chose to do so in two crucial games where we got beaten badly
I've seen enough of the player. I don't believe he is good enough for even championship level - it's not his fault. Why should I expect a player I don't think is any good to play well

It's actually mad that there's lads in this squad that are in their mid 20s that should genuinely retire and it wouldn't shock me if they did. Godfrey absolutely ruined by injuries, Mina the same, Davies not a League One standard player, I can't see another club going near Keane or Iwobi.
6 players there that I would not think twice if they never played football again after this season. Genuinely. Godfrey this season may be some of the worst full back performances I've seen, seconded only by Mykolenko on the other side. We've gone from Baines and Coleman being potentially the best full back pairing in the world to comfortably the worst in the top European leagues and I say that knowing full well they're 100% Championship duos that are better, along with second division German, Spanish and Italian sides too.

The issue is diabolical recruitment. We signed a centre half who couldn't defend from a team who went down conceding for fun. I ask the question, who thought that was a good idea?
