Pick one position and teach him how to play it, if for no other reason than maybe being able to sell him for actual money.

Played left back for us (I think) and played there really well...

Agree Mr Eggs; he played many really good games for us and just needs to rediscover that spark.

Lost confidence with hus reaction to covid, which he had badly, I reckon.

Needs a run to get that back - maybe a loan til January - because we can't afford to give players a run who aren't at their best here, at the moment.

Might be handy on the right. He lost a tiny bit of pace but he's athletic enough to be a decent match against all those PL left sided wingers.
He's relatively young so he could be trained to be an average anchor man in midfield with very short passing range.
In Central defence, forget it. Absolutely no place for him there.

No thanks shoehorning him into the right isn’t the answer either he’s crap. Can we stop suggesting playing players who are crap in their original position somewhere else.

Totally agree! Another of those situation where, if you could be arsed,l to look back, the early comments on him were amazing, the word captain was bring bandied about.
