Apparently Benfica have sacked their manager Fernando Santos

after two games - a win in the champions league qualifying round and a draw.

could job he didn't lose any.

fans not too happy at fernandes going by all accounts.

new manager in.

hope the deal has been signed and done as far as benfica go as I wouldn't be surprised to see them try and get a player like fernandes back now they have a new manager.

Come on you bastards FA, ratify the papers so we can draw a line under this.
 
I'll want to be swallowed into a pit if something [Poor language removed] out. I'm confident all is well though :)
 
I think it'll go through - but only because the FA cannot find a way to rule it out but still let the [Poor language removed] buy him next week :)

  • Fernandes regularly played street football with Manchester United winger Nani as a child.
  • Whilst playing for Benfica he earned the nicknamed 'Manelelé', following comments from Jose Mourinho stating that Fernandes was better than French midfielder Claude Makelele at the same age.

plus they dont want to end up with another tevez deal.

probably hard to sort all the paper work.

I think the ruling states if its Man U or Liverpool you can buy a joint owned player but if your EFC...

He only got sacked yesterday so it may not be involved. Just could come back to haunt us.

Want him to sign them papers.

If we got no-one but Manny this season I'd be happy.

I thought our deal with Benfica was done and we were waiting for the FA to approve the contract as it still involves a 3rd party part owner.

did the OS say that he has actually signed the papers?

probably no point signing papers if we cant get an agreement for him to play from the FA. I imagine he's not signed yet.

He was spotted writing something, turns out it was Sudoko and he [Poor language removed] it up and had to rip it up.

Didn't Da Silva sign papers like 3 years ago but couldn't play so we had to loan him out until his papers cleared. (International Clearance I think)

So, this could probably be pretty much the same deal.
