Appointing that pig is what set really set us on our downwards spiral imo. We've yet to recover from his tenure as manager here.

I well and truly wish both him, and the people who were responsible for his appointment as Everton manager, the very worst of the worst.

He's the only former manager we've had where i spit into the ground after saying his name.

I’d argue Big Sam was the beginning of the end. Not because he failed or was a poor appointment at the time. It signified that Moshiri would stoop to ANY level to try and find success and stability. He didn’t care about the backlash or unpopularity of the hires. Mosh is the problem.

Carlo was always going to be a hard act to follow, but the fact that Benitez was his successor was a proper punch into the gut so it was.

Anyone and i mean anyone would've been better than him. Moshiri hired the worst possible person for the job, both at that point and at any point!

Yeah he won't entertain going back there because he got sacked and no one else is going to offer a manager position to a has-been that couldn't even succeed in the Chinese league then followed that with two disastrous managing stints afterwards

I genuinely appreciate how you've managed to be so successful in destroying him here with setting your starting point set where it is.

-The one before that, he was sacked 6 months into a job where he had the eventual champions league winners in third place (they finished their domestic league in second, missing out on winning the league after sacking him by 1 point)
