Benitez is a fat whopper

Dyche would be a sensible move in your current position he'll sort you oot at the back at least.

Mind you the attacking quality and pace you have in your squad Benitez could certainly do well at your gaff. Unlike the dross he had to work with here you have the makings of a good side on top of some clever players who can actually follow complex tactics and not just sideways and back passes to the defence/goalie.
Did you watch any of the games when he was in charge? Neanderthals are the only players that could work for him as his style's prehistoric. A relic of a manager who blames everyone else.

If I had a gun with 2 bullets I’d shoot Benitez twice.

Gets this treatment first. Only fair.

I see he has been in the media again, promoting himself, linked to the olympiacos job. Probably fancies the Leicester Job when they eventually sack Brendan Rogers, so he can stay living on the wirral and just commute. So Benitez is just keeping his name in the spotlight and trying to peddle the narrative that he was only rubbish at everton because he couldnt change things because he is a former Liverpool manager...

Never mind Benitez.

Koeman:

"Everton is different because Everton tried. I [had] one and a half seasons at Everton. The first season we did well and ended sixth in the Premier League — maybe the best record in the last 15 years.”

"It's difficult though because Everton had the money. But it's always difficult because if you try to sign good players or star players — if they can choose between Tottenham, City, Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal normally they will choose that kind of club and not Everton.

"Changing managers is not always the reason that it will be better. They [have been] struggling in the last few years, fighting against relegation, and let's hope that they come back up in the table."

Or maybe the fact because some players wouldn't want a bully as a manager
