They finished 13th last season. Having won 11 games out of 38.

Then he turns up.

And they are now 17th, 2 points from relegation, having only won 5 from 28.

Spiral looks to be his doing. Same way he took us over when we finished 10th and plummeted us down the table.

Benitez has previously said he wont entertain going back there according to reports in Spain.

If you look at Celta's recent history apart from a purple patch season they have been on a steady decline.

17th
17th
8th
11th
13th

They had a brief moment of good form but have started to revert back to being bottom feeders. That club will go down eventually if they cannot or choose not to back a manager with investment to improve their squad. Similiar story at our club in recent years.
