I see @ForeverBlue92 has been ruffling feathers in her like some kinda forum gun totin rootin tootin Sarah Palin figure.

To quote the eminent philosopher Eric Cantona `When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea'.

FB92 is the Trawler and we are all chasing sardines. AMIRIGHT?

This, incidentally, is the real Benitez legacy.

Emptied me coat pocket yesterday looking for me debit card and a few tiddlers that looked like Benitez fell oot.

Sardines are the real Benitez legacy?

Oh, I will update my opinion of him accordingly.

Rafael Benitez: Former manager of Everton FC who should never have been anywhere near the club in the first place and should have been binned after that derby display. Sardines.

Cheers Davey.

Do I blame Benitez on our current problems 100%, no but he was an accelerant.

We still had/have a decent team but he drained the confidence and his tactics were somewhat backwards.

Hopefully our home form can pull us through and just is still that little bit of confidence that is needed at the moment.

Oh, and the ones calling him childish names, cut it out. It is not big and not clever, criticise him all you want, be angry all you want but you make yourself look a bit sad when resorting to name calling.
