You only have to have lived in South East Asia for a short period of time to appreciate that racism is not the exclusive property of white caucasians.

Spot on Esk, try looking at the caste sustem in India, I would say that in itself is a form of racism. When matters are applied to humour then one mans joke is anothers insult, anyone heard Richard Priors anti-white routine, it can make you feel very uncomfortable, if you are white:blink:

its not a shout against monty, i have to say im a fan of prior, i can accept him for what he was, and i can hear what he has to say and not try to politicise it, if politicians had their way, a sense of humour would be outlawed, - all the more reason to outlaw politicians.

Suits, I agree with you mate but Prior was a racist as Manning but that did not form part his eulogy it was more on the lines that 'ground breaking comedian dies' he was but for Manning,......... enough said

Can I get any more south east?

My point is that only White people can be accused of it, anybody in this whole world could call me white boy and nobody would batter an eye lid, but if I called somebody a [Poor language removed], [Poor language removed], spic, chink or any of that I'd get battered.

Isn't it the same??

Try getting by in Hawaii. Haole is the 'preferred' term for the Pacific Islanders to generalize about us white folk.

its Gaijin here, means foreigner, chizuru tells me that people don't mean it offensively but how the hell do you not take offence when someone points and says it... [Poor language removed] sake.

I bet those pacific Islanders don't get called racists do they Dylan.

Well I must have been living under a rock, or is it just the fact that this [Poor language removed] is not revered as important as he is in his racist club. I didn't realise he was dead, now that I know he is - I am absolutely delighted, one less [Poor language removed] in the world.
