If he continues with this progression he could end up being back in Brazil contention next season.

... I read somewhere his last game for Brazil was the 7-1 demolition by the Germans in 2014. Feel sorry for the lad, many in that starting XI for Brazil would have had their reputation tarred, rightly or wrongly.

At least Bernard is / was young enough to rebuild his reputation.

I think it was £45m buy out on his contract not sure of the duration though. Needs a new contract urgently with a release clause of double what it currently is.

I think that clause was on the insistence of his agent though

Properly terrible there, not for the first time this season. His end product has been pretty poor since he's been here. Fits into the system well and puts in a shift on the press which is important but doesn't contribute enough with his final ball.

Bissaka is probably one of the top defenders in the league, so not surprised he had a little more trouble than usual today. He has foiled us twice this season
