Nice to see ‘see you next season’ I’d imagine there’s a lot of ego players at clubs in the prem including at ours who couldn’t bring themselves to ever say that.

Would still like to see him in the position that Guardiola us the Silvas. If we found ourselves a top defensive mid and could somehow run Bernard alongside Siggurdson behind a front three that would be brilliant.

Yep lukaku.... the player who couldnt score in big games or against top sides and who had the touch of an elephant...

The lukaku who ran when it suited him... couldn't be bothered working for his team mates and moaned about playing for us and pimped himself out at every opportunity.

Vs Bernie..... a player who epitomizes what it was that made many of us love the game..... who made us enviously admire the kid in school who could dribble past 7 players in FA Singles.... a player who hasn't had s pre season and actually used games to get fit in the most physically demanding of leagues despite being one of the smallest.

Bernie.... who next season is going to be a ridiculous player with a pre season behind him.

You throwing in league cup games and on loan? Recalc the stats then..... still makes awful reading.

Used to be a flat track bully.... now he's just a fat back....

Failure with the big move he whinged for..... moved to win things... one of the reasons they've failed.

Work on supporting players who wanna do well for us instead of worshipping ex players who couldn't wait to get away

I’d love to see him there. He works hard, can beat a man and has the creativity we need.

I think he'll score more next season. But 1 league goal, 2 in all competitions isn't a great return, and I think the player himself would be disappointed with that return.

Anyway, the signs are good. He's earned his place in the starting team on merit.
