A player like Bernard no matter what league he’s played in the fact is his size (what some people are considering to be a weakness) is also a big advantage. It’s not as though he’s never played against big fellas in important games who want to cut him in half.

I think you will see two or three changes at most. You do not want to lose a feel good factor by not respecting the opposition.

Agreed, 2 or 3 changes tops - we need to be introducing players into a settled squad, particularly more so right now as the players are familiarising themselves with Silvas system.

Small cameo role today but a few good touches ...will take time to feel his way in but he won't get a more 'Everton' game than that one so a good christening for the lad
