If he can get back to his best form he’s a decent squad option. I’ve seen him play far far better than he currently is now which quite frankly is disgraceful. His level at Leicester away and Anfield last season was far higher than the level he’s playing at now. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was sold for FFP purposes because his consistency just isn’t there. Talent wise he should be an undisputed first team player but currently no is bothered if he’s even in the squad or not.

Sadly the tide has turned on young Bernie.

Hes at the end of his 2nd season here and he's being kept out the side by Alex Iwobi and a 19-year-old.

The problem will be his 135k a week wages, so I cant see us being able to shift him sadly, I suspect he has a LOT of loans in his future.

I think he will go. Even if we don’t get much, he’s on a big wage, turns 28 in September. Only has 2 years left. We definitely won’t be giving him another deal.

Love watching him when he is on his game, wonderful ball player, unfortunately he isn't on his game that much and his frame/physique just isn't suited to the rigours of this league,a real shame but how long do you wait for a player to blossom?, two years now and he's virtually stood still,as I said a shame as he also appears to be a smashing fella too.
