that is a good album. we found it left in the stereo at a cottage we rented in france one summer, so i copied it & it's now something we always associate with summertime.

cheers, all mod cons seems to be a popular choice which is a bit suprising in a way. I dont listen to the jam anymore cause i dont think it lasts the test of time but if any album does its that one. All the rest i chose id happily listen to now. Another one which was a classic of its time but i dont want to listen to any more is the first stone roses album. I remember getting the 12 minute (i think) version of fools gold on 12inch and just playing it over and over again. Happy days

The Jam are my favourite band ever ever EVER!! And I'm not 18 til next month

Weller is an absolute God. All Mod Cons is awesome, but I love all of The Jam's albums, even This is the Modern World, which got slaughtered on release!

Got tickets to see Weller in November, can't wait
