Ya I was in lower bullins for that and it went nuts. I would normally have sat gwladys gt4 and would have been used to getting messy for big goals but I must say I was impressed by the bullins faithful for artetas goal. I got stood on.

I’ll never forgive Sebastian Frey for turning into Lev Yashin for one night only.

No, we always walked home from Goodison. We lived on Walton Hall Avenue on the opposite side to Littlewoods Pools. We always took a tennis ball to games and went through Walton Hall park so we could have a kick-about. A tanner was a lot for a bus fare? Must have been a long journey. Most journey's were only 1d or 2d. My grandad was an Inspector on the trams. We always looked out for him as we got a free ride if he was on the same tram.
Yes, a tanner was a lot, never sussed the other lad out! I too looked out for your grandad, and his mates, I used to bunk quite a lot on the trams and buses, then never stopped looking out of the window!!

Don't think I missed a home game in the 1948/49 season. Boys' pen every game, never had a problem with the Boys' pen.
I missed the first game of that season, a 3-3 draw with Newcastle I think, for some reason I went to Anfield with my Red mates, Liverpool Res, won 5-1 or 5-2, never did that again, missing Everton to watch Liverpool Res!!I think that what’s started me mam taking me to see a psychiatrist.
