Best band in your opinion

The Beatles transcend music, no one else has such a varied and lengthy legacy and it’s for great reason. McCartney bringing down the house at Glastonbury in the year of our Lord 2022 last night is testimony to just that.

The Beatles, clear, and Paul Macca is a blue.

Which version of Fleetwood Mac are you talking about? The original lineup is underrated for me.

I mean The Who are overrated. Other bands surpass them in my eyes. Throw in radiohead

Despite all their hype they still remain so, so underrated in my book sir. Always evolving.

Has to be the Beatles, mainly because of the amount of great output. They benefitted from not playing live later on and just wrote, also not flogging it out for years.
The Who are great but I think inspiring in my opinion the Lad Band thing, of which I reckon they are the originals, is a negative.
Floyd were only amazing early on, post 74 they just became commercial pop music for the masses and a bit dull.

Floyd where a huge part of my teenage years and many of their songs when I hear them even now take me back to certain places/party’s/sit offs when I was younger.

….just as my daughter did, my three-year old granddaughter sat on my knee yesterday asking me to repeatedly play ‘Hello, Goodbye” on my i-pad. As fresh today as it was back then.
