The Bloomfield Road chippy in Blackpool - there`s spice heads and drunks face down outside, but the fish and chips is off the scale good and amazingly cheap too.

I`ve been to that many fantastic chippies, in Yorkshire, it`s hard to know where to start really, as it`s their regional dish and if a chippy isn`t good, it shuts down pretty quickly, it`s as a simple as that.

Getting fewer and further between. Seems like there's loads who take the chips out of the fryer far too early because there's a rush on and dish out soggy undercooked strips of still near white potato masquerading as chips. And then there's the monsters who chuck the chips in before the oil or fat is properly up to temperature with similar results.
