Best Death Scenes in Films

Not a film but the opening scene of The Last Of Us.

Started playing that a few weeks after my daughter was born and I really get something in my eye every time I watch it.

I haven’t seen the film but reading that section in the novel gets me EVERY time

The film is not a patch on the book, as they bottled it with some of the content, which I assume, was to avoid an 18 rating in the cinema.

But, they got the ending spot on in the film, as it virtually mirrors the book.

It`s one of my all time favourite books, even though it makes me sob my heart out, every time I read it lol

It's the most relentlessly bleak book I've ever read, its clear that mankind has somehow stamped all life out from the planet and that events will get even worse in the pages of the book. Yet you still can't help but hope.

I watched that film not long after my first child was born and cried through the entire thing.

Have you read the book ?

It’s more emotive x 10.

It destroyed me the first time I read it. I must’ve read it read it at least half dozen times since then and the ending still gets me.

Even though the ending is heartbreaking, it‘s is all about hope though.

Yes, although I watched the movie first, and I agree.

It was the timing when I watched the movie that [Poor language removed] me up, all I could think about was it being me and my daughter on the road

That scene in Crash where Gosling kicks that bloke's head in in a lift. I just enjoyed the shocking nature of the violence.

Same goes for the scene in Old Boy when the fella stabs someone to death with a broken CD.

Edit: Balls, didn't click that it's movie only...
