I'm taking liberties with Brady on the right flank, but I had to squeeze him in there somewhere. A number of cracking left sided players were left out too - including Bale, Van Den Hauwe, Sheedy - but you couldn't have Bale for Irwin, and for me John Robertson is hands down the best winger produced on these islands ever.

Bale over Giggs imo. Giggs never did it at international level whereas Bale has.

Ferguson didnt take Hanson to the 86 WC. He cried off too many times when Stein was manager, which Ferguson remembered when he had to take over.
