Best foreign sweet treats

I tried this dessert in a Moroccan place earlier this year.
No idea what it was called, but it was incredible.

It was some sort of of sharp tasting cream cheese baked in a thin, crispy, filo style pastry and drizzled with a very dark honey which had faint liquorice flavour to it.

Really rich & decadent. ?

Portuguese are very proud of their pastel de natas (custard tarts) Not much to them I think. I like a Brazilian brigadeiro. Which is basically a ball chocolate and condensed milk

There's a Portuguese shop down the road from me and it's always a pleasure to pop in for a coffee and a pastel de nata. Lovely couple who run it too.
