James and Sheeds actually have (had) similar attributes - rarely see them sprint, often wander around in a game but with an ability to influence in moments of genius. Fantastically weighted passes, perfect inviting crosses, visionary and sublime touches and dinks into danger areas, the ability to score from distance, quality from set pieces... Gotta remember though, Sheeds proved it season after season, won games for us, showed he was the man for big occasions and for away cup matches on muddy lower league pitches. James is brilliant and has had a great start with us but it's way too early to put him alongside Sheedy. If he stays injury free he'll be there for sure though.

As much as I loved Sheedy, for people to be saying that he and Hinchcliffe are better than James is making me reach for the bleach.

We're not discussing how good they are for Everton.
