I don't acknowledge Merseyside as a real place. I could name great Pubs in Liverpool though.

In town, The Grapes, The Belvedere, Dispensary, Roscoe Head, Ship and Mitre, Rigbys, The Lion.

Anyway, ship and mitre, Peter kavanaghs, Caledonia etc all decent boozers in town.

By ours the new Glebe is a decent boozer with good ale (Estrella and San Miguel on tap) and the black horse is boss in summer with the new telly and the big garden.

The ship is my favourite boozer though. Love a few civilised afternoon pints in there when it's quiet then get the train home from moorfields. Boss.

I know what you mean about the black horse can be absolutely rammed full of divvies but that beer garden in the summer is probably the best in the city. Come to think of it the lack of quality beer gardens in this city is weird isn't it?

yeah the beer garden is sound. Growing up we climbed over the back wall and played football on there it was a great little pitch . It wasn't used as a beer garden then .

Yeah I can't think of too many beer gardens . Well good ones anyway .
