Best/Worst comedians!

I'm disappointed that it took 3 pages for Eddie Murphy to get a mention, even though you wouldn't know it now after all of the average at best films he's been in Raw and Delirious are two of the funniest shows I've ever seen.

Anyway, favourite comedians are Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, Richard Pryor, Eddie Izzard and Billy Connoly. These have more than one stand up show that have me in stitches every time I watch them. Also, even though this is a stand up comedian thread I've got to give an honourable mention to Peter Sellers and the Monty Python troupe, they aren't comedians but their comedic acting is second to none.

Comedians that I like that come to mind are Jim Jefferies, Dara O'Briain, Frankie Boyle, John Bishop, Jimmy Carr, Sean Lock, Charlie Barnett, Rich Hall and Louis CK. All of these have had me in stitches but they either didn't have the staying power of my favourites or I just haven't seen enough of them to promote them to my favourites.

Comedians that I don't like are Lee Evans, Michael McIntyre, Sarah Millican (actually most women comedians are a bit ****e to be honest, I tend to be pleasantly surprised if a comedienne is merely average never mind good) and most of all that Miranda one that looks like a hippo that's borrowed Boris Johnson's hair, she is awful and I'd bet even my nan could be funnier than her. It was painful watching her bit on sport relief and to be honest I'd rather watch the starving kids in Africa collect flies on their face than see her attempts at comedy, at least the appeals know they aren't supposed to be funny and don't try unlike her.

Richard Pryor, Stewart Lee, Bill Hicks, Woody Allen, Peter Kay, Victoria Wood are all greats IMO

Frankie Boyle is just a c**t. If you have to mock disabled kids to get laughs then you are a cock.

Saw Jimmy Carr years ago and he was great, then again maybe 2 years ago and not so good, although he did get a heckler to leave in a rage before the end so extra points for that.

Quite like Mickey Flannegan and he's great live.

Lee Evans flaps about and sweats like an overheated mental patient and is utterly sh*t

Can't find fault with any of that, Flanagan is pretty good from what I've seen.

Jack Whitehall is god awful too.

Disappointed in myself that I missed all these out.
