What I really like is he emphasises that his greatest asset is “effort”. He is not the most gifted striker but he works hard and makes the most of his ability. That attitude is what needs to spread through the whole team.

The Dude is everywhere.

I thought he was pretty decent at the weekend. A lot of purpose and running and looked and indeed has looked our main goal threat in most games.

Like a lot of players he’s come in for a bit of flack but when supported he’s not a bad player and can get goals from midfield.
