Scary thing is that we were being linked with him for a few transfer windows before we signed him. So, presumably we were scouting him for a while.

Were we? That's unreal. His first touch is consistently poor which should be a massive red flag for anyone who scouts him. Especially if he's being looked at to come into a very fast paced and (largely) technically excellent league.

Other teams manage to get decent players for cut prices yet once again we've manage to end up with a complete lump up front who looks like he's still discovering the offside rule.
