He should never have been bought in the first place. I wouldn't want Adams but I bet he scores more goals over a season than Beto ever does.

We needed Beto, whether he worked out or not we needed to buy another striker because the alternative was going with maupay upfront again.
Hes featured in 38 games this season. Even if that’s allowing DCL to rest in the last 10 mins, that’s been useful

Yeah but hes free. Thats about all we will be getting this summer sales or no sales. People are even talking about fees like 10 mil on here like its nothing but even thatll probably be over the top for us. Be surprised if we spend money on anyone. Freebies, loans and thatll be it unfortunately so the likes of Adams are probably very much in play unfortunately.

While a season ticket holder at Southampton I've watched him loads.

Pretty useless as a target man or main striker, think banjo and barn door.
Brilliant at link up and assists when played with any half decent forward.
Wouldn't get the time here before dropped/booed/loaned to Rotherham.
DCL would enjoy playing alongside him. Adams & Ings were dynamite the one season they played together.
Not a Dyche player.
Doesn't sulk or cause problems, nice bloke by all accounts.

Basically Maupay then but without the sulking and pretending to fight people while hiding behind a team mate/the ref. Yay.

I honestly don't think it's us Shangs. The club isn't the reason he can't get shots off on goal when he has the ball at his feet, or that he throws himself on the floor at the slightest touch, etc. Playing for somebody else wouldn't immediately improve his awful first touch, and he'll be 27 just after Christmas so is hardly likely to improve drastically on his current level.

He needs the ball in front of him to run onto. Thats where he thrived at previous clubs.

As soon as we realised theres been an error, we needed to sell.

We will never get that back as we massively overpaid in the first place due to getting him on the bounce. He is a £10-15m player and no more.

Say £15mil and we take the hit on the rest.

Im confident Chermiti's value will rise to cover the Beto loss.
