Garner is overrated...he is average to the point that he plays full back for the u21s. Douc offers at least a little bit more muscle.

Playing full back for the u21s doesn't mean your average.

I thought Beto did alright today. Seems to be a bit of a workhorse with lots of running but not much else; for a tall guy I felt he was poor in the air and got bullied too easily. Mind you, it was his first Premier League game.

Bullied too easily? I lost count of shef United players bouncing off him and being left tangled.

Playing full back for the u21s doesn't mean your average.

Means you're not good enough to be playing midfield for that team. Personally I think he is technically limited, but has a good engine and a good discipline which I guess that's why he ended up playing there for us too for a bit. I was hoping that he would be able to take over gueye, but seriously doubt now that he can play as a 6

He is a 1 in 3 but has more to his game like disrupting CBs and just like DCL not being prolific they are the type of players that make the whole team play better by helping then get involved

Thought he looked very good for 70mins.

Lots of positive things not least the shot that hit their defenders hand for our 1st goal corner.

The back heel and a few soft touches were surprising.

He has to see better service though. Knocking it long Dyche style isnt going to help him...he needs to be fed balls in between centre and full back.

Balls in front of him to get his pace going which will scare defenders and lead to goals.
